With the demise of Twitter and the rise of several other social media sites it’s hard to guess where your favorite authors will be.
Some of us love Threads. Some love Bluesky. Some love Mastodon. Some of us have found other places to play or given up on the social media game entirely. Which is a major reason for reviving the blog and trying to make time for blogging in my writing schedule.
I’ve tried both BlueSky and Mastodon. I have accounts with both. And, at this point, I’m more likely to be found on BlueSky.
I run accounts on both. Announcements and ads go to Mastodon. But, at the end of the day, I’ve had more interaction and found it easier to find my friends on Bluesky.
If you find yourself on a social media site, feel free to say hi. If you are not a fan of social media I am going to do my best to update the blog at least once a month so readers who don’t want to be on social media can check in on the books they love.
