So… it’s been a minute since I blogged.
The delay wasn’t intentional. It’s just been a wee bit busy over here. There’s been changes with the press, new books bouncing to my editor, and just a lot of chaos in general. I’m having trouble keeping track of which timezones all my kids are in right now.
Here’s the update:
I wrote a graphic novel script this spring. It’s currently with an illustrator and as soon as I have news to share, I’ll share it. I probably need to do a full post on this. Followers on BlueSky have seem some #Drumline hashtags. I promise, it’s fun, and wild, and middle grade.
The next Christmas book is ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A BANSHEE. It’s still scheduled for a December release but stalled mid-edit. I’m hoping to get back to it in June.
I’m writing a new sci-fi book that my beta readers and agent have loved. It’s currently titled BATTLELINES and we will see where that goes. It will probably be on an editor’s desk later this year. We’ll see where it goes from there.
Fleet of Malik #3, LAWS OF ATTRACTION, is back from the beta readers and lined up for summer edits. I know – I KNOW – I’ve been working on this book for what feels like a decade. It’s going to get done this year, one way or another, and will either be a late 2026 or early 2027 release. I may revisit that universe, but the main series will be finished and the big question I get all the emails about will be answered. We all want it and it is going to happen.
