Hello Lovelies!
Congratulations on surviving 2020 and making it to January of 2021!
Here’s what’s going on in 2021…
– THE DAY BEFORE is getting finished in the next two weeks and I’ll probably schedule more than one chapter a week so you can read it all before the new edition comes out.
– I’m taking a script writing class in January and I’ll be sharing tidbits from that along with (maybe? if I write it?) the script I’m working on.
– My agent has twisted my arm and asked me to write a novel with the same tone as ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A WEREWOLF (okay, she didn’t twist hard, she asked me if I could make the books longer and, of course, I said yes!). I can’t share much of that at this point because it is headed to a specific editor and house, but I will drop some tidbits about the process on Patreon.
– ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A GARGOYLE is plotted, started, and needs the plot shortened so it doesn’t become a novel. Look for out takes on Patreon!
– FOR EVERY ACTION, Fleet of Malik 3, is 20% done, 100% plotted, and the first rough draft is due at the end of spring. If you want to hear about how writing Book 3 is different than writing Book 1, let me know! I’d be happy to do a comparison video.
– In February BODIES IN MOTION is the Book of the Month for the READ THIS! book club sponsored by Gini Koch. There will be a live Q&A on Discord 18-FEB. You can stop by January’s book club meeting (21-JAN) and hang out with us. If you can’t get a copy of BiM you can request a review copy from my website.
– In May I will be at Atomacon in Charleston if the COVID vaccine roll out goes as scheduled and we are allowed to have cons again. Cross your fingers and wear your mask as we all eagerly anticipate con season (and finish our cosplays… I am way behind on my pirate jacket).
