Tomorrow I’m doing something new.
I’m taking a script writing class.
It’s a brand new creative ocean to go swimming in, and I feel like a very tiny guppy who isn’t going to be able to complete with the lovely fish in California who have years of experience talking about movies, TV shows, and the like.
What do I have? Some very limited modeling experience, a little bit of stage experience, two scripts for plays written, and a lot of novel writing experience. Hopefully some of this will translate.
It’s always a little bit scary to try new things because I know I can fail, and I really hate failing.
But the only way to get to new places and do new things is to go and try new things. Failure is part of the path to success. You have to fall down. You have to get it wrong. You have to belly flop a few times before you learn to dive.
So… here I go! Belly flopping into Hollywood!
