Monthly Editing Sale – $50 off an Editorial Assessment

Any Editorial Assessment booked in December gets a $50 credit*.

What Is An Editorial Assessment?
An Editorial Assessment is a basic editing letter that gives you the feedback you need to start your edits.
The letter is 1-4 pages in length, covers the big picture edits, and offers recommendations on how to edit the manuscript for your target market.  This is a great edit for someone who has just finished NaNoWriMo, authors who are stuck in the mucky middle, or for anyone who needs some quick beta reader feedback on their work.

What Does It Cost?
$0.005/word – the offer is good for manuscript over 20,000 words*.

How Long Does It Take?
An editorial assessment usually take one day per every 10,000 words plus two to three days for the letter writing. If your novel is 90,000 words it will take about twelve working days for me to read, take notes, and write you an editing letter.

Is A Sample Edit Available?
Sample edits are available for full Developmental Edits but because the Editorial Assessment is only a short editing letter I do not offer samples at this time.

Do I Need To Hand In The Manuscript In December?
No. You can book an assessment for anytime between December 1st and March 31st, 2022. As long as it’s booked in December (with a 10% down payment that is fully refundable), you get the $50 credit on your final bill.
